View: 22-year-old League One sensation West Brom should throw everything at landing

West Brom should throw everything at landing MK Dons’ Scott Twine this summer, after reportedly being interested in the attacker.

As reported by TEAMtalk on Friday [6 May], The Baggies are said to be among a host of clubs chasing Twine and so they should be.

Twine’s statistics throughout his career and this season scream a player that is destined to make it to the very top of the game.

As per Wyscout, Twine has attempted the most shots in League One with 152, with over three shots a game.

Crucially of his 152 shots, 102 of them have come from outside the area.

The Baggies have struggled for goals all season and were the sixth lowest scorers in the Championship this season.

If Steve Bruce’s side can add some attacking impetuous to their play then they certainly have the defensive capability to compete at the top end of the League next season.

Twine could be the player to find a moment of quality in a tight game that Bruce’s side needs.

It’s not just Twine’s shooting ability that has set him apart this season.

The attacking midfielder has notched eleven assists this season to go with his 22 League goals.

The 22-year-old’s delivery could be an excellent tool for the Baggies with plenty of big targets in the box for him to hit.

Twine is also the most fouled player in League One, winning 119 free kicks this season, so the Baggies will certainly have plenty of chances to show their set-piece prowess

What sets Twine apart from the rest in League One is his eagerness to shoot, dribble and cross from any position.

He’s a player that won’t shy away from making things happen.

After MK Don’s playoff heartache against Wycombe, it will be extremely unlikely that he will be playing League One football next season.

The Baggies should be throwing everything at landing his signature.
