West Brom striker Andy Carroll rejected by Club Brugge due to issues in medical

Club Brugge have reportedly turned down the chance of signing West Brom forward Andy Carroll due to the results of his medical test.

According to Belgian media outlet HLN, the club were not convinced by the insufficient date provided in the medical.

The English striker, who is set to leave the Baggies once his deal expires later this month, will now have to look for another club.

Bizarre

The nomadic Carroll’s footballing career goes through another down as he seems to have failed his medical.

The report claims that it was already a move that was tough to happen, but the Belgian club have now called off the deal.

For a striker in his 30s, injury issues are the norm and we think it could be something related to it that left them unconvinced.

He will not even be offered a trial and is likely to come back to his home in England and see what the best option in his career would be.

Steve Bruce would have loved to have him on for another season but he felt that he still had one big move left in him.

Now the ship has sailed for him at the Hawthorns and we’re interested to see which club he ends up joining as news of this medical will be running rife.

In other West Brom news, the Baggies are set to battle Manchester United to sign an exit-bound Premier League goalkeeper this summer.
