West Brom: Ryan Lowe admits interest in ‘fantastic’ Callum Robinson
Preston North End manager Ryan Lowe has admitted that he would be keen to sign West Brom attacker Callum Robinson this summer.
The Republic of Ireland international is one of the players who the Baggies would be willing to sell as they look to revamp the senior squad and the Lilywhites are among those interested in a deal, as reported by Darren Witcoop.
Albion are holding out for a transfer fee for Robinson though but Lowe seems ready to try and make a deal happen if the opportunity arises.

“He’s a fantastic player, has had a fantastic career and PNE fans love him so why wouldn’t anyone be interested in Callum Robinson,” Lowe said, as quoted by the Lancashire Post.
“If he becomes available of course we’d be interested like everyone else would be.
“Callum is one of probably 25 strikers up and down the country that other clubs would look at as well. It’s no different for us, we want to be linked with good players and be targeting good players and Callum certainly is one of them.”
Shake hands
Preston want the 27-year-old and we aren’t that fussed about him so all the pointers are aimed at a transfer before the window slams shut at the end of August.
And we should really be prepared to shake hands with those at Deepdale if a sufficient bid comes in because we could do with some extra cash to help fund our own transfer ambitions.

Steve Bruce wants to add plenty more to the West Brom squad this summer but he has so far been constricted to the free agent market with the additions of John Swift and Jed Wallace in midfield.
Despite being involved in 17 of our goals last season, Robinson was not a hugely inspiring player to watch and he was ultimately overshadowed by Karlan Grant.
His troubles will be compounded by the long-awaited return to fitness for Daryl Dike too which may have prevented any starting spot being opened up for the Irishman this season.
In other West Brom news, Albion did make a huge offer for a Brazilian ace but they face a challenge from Norwich City.
