Sky Sports pundit predicts West Brom clash v Stoke in Championship
West Brom will come away with three points from their Championship match against Stoke City at the weekend, according to Sky Sports pundit David Prutton.
The Baggies go into the fixture having won back-to-back matches under new manager Carlos Corberan, and will look to make it three in their last game before the World Cup break.
Corberan will also be hopeful that striker Daryl Dike could make his return to action after playing 45 minutes and scoring a penalty for the club’s Premier League 2 side on Monday night (7 November).

Writing for his Sky Bet Championship predictions column, Prutton predicted a comfortable 3-1 victory for West Brom over Stoke, whilst predicting a 2-1 defeat for relegation rivals Blackpool, which would in turn see The Baggies climb out of the bottom three.

Three on the bounce
After impressive 1-0 victories over Blackpool and high-fliers QPR, Corberan’s side will be full of confidence – something which has not often been the case for West Brom in recent times.
Following a dismal start to their Championship season under Steve Bruce, picking up points is a necessity for Corberan before he gets to work with his side for an extended period of time during the winter break.
Stoke City sit just five points but an even larger seven places above The Baggies, so three points here would make the table far more palatable for fans during the World Cup break.
The potential inclusion of Daryl Dike will be a huge bonus to Corberan whose side has struggled for goals all season, with Karlan Grant, John Swift, and Jed Wallace leading the scoring charts with just three a piece.
With Stoke winning four and losing four of their last eight games, don’t put your money on a draw.
