West Brom striker Karlan Grant expected to fly to Spain despite minor injury and lack of form

West Brom striker Karlan Grant is reportedly expected to fly to Costa Blanca in Spain despite his minor injury and lack of form.

According to Birmingham Live on 14 November, the Baggies will be flying out for their mid-season break to get back to fitness after football resumes.

Despite Grant’s lack of form, scoring thrice in 17 league games he will be on the plane along with all fit first-team players.

Second chance

Grant has been in awful form for the Baggies this season and there’s a good reason for the fans to not be fully behind him.

It felt at times that he stopped playing for the manager and Steve Bruce certainly did not do much to get him onside.

However, under Carlos Corberan, he now has a clean slate to begin with and he’s got to show him and the fans why he deserves to stay at the club beyond the summer.

Like every player, he’s got to earn his place back in the team and maybe on the trip to Spain he can prove his worth to Corberan and the rest of his coaching staff.

These are exciting times for Baggies fans and the break may have come at the wrong time for them as they looked like they were gaining some momentum under the new manager and there’s been a positive vibe around the club recently.
