Chris Lepkowski stunned by what he saw West Brom ace Grady Diangana do v Rotherham

Chris Lepkowski was thrilled by the instant impact Grady Diangana made off the bench for West Brom against Rotherham on 17 December.

The Baggies went on to win the game 3-0 and pick up three important points as they climbed up the EFL Championship table and moved into 16th place.

With the score at 1-0, Carlos Corberan through Diangana on for Daryl Dike and within seconds the Congo born attacker found the back of the net.

Reacting to this on Twitter, Lepkowski said, “Blimey, talk about an instant impact.”

Brilliant

Corberan deserves just as much credit as Diangana for the praise as the game was still on the knife’s edge before he brought him on.

Dike looked decent in spells, but is still not ready to play the full game and the Spaniard made the right decision to replace him.

He’s managed to get most if not all the West Brom players on board and there’s no surprise to see the results suddenly improving.

There seems to be positivity and harmony behind the scenes at the Hawthorns and that’s for the first time in a few years.

We’re hoping that this continues for the long run and Corberan is backed by the board in January to get him the players good enough to challenge for promotion.

The way they’re playing currently, the Baggies seem like one of the strongest teams in the division and hopefully, with a few signings, top six is not out of the picture.
