Karlan Grant starts – Confirmed West Brom XI v Bristol City
Carlos Corberan has named a strong West Brom starting line-up against Bristol City at Ashton Gate on Saturday (28 January) in the fourth round of the FA Cup.
It’s an all-Championship affair in the South West, and the Baggies will be looking to bounce back to winning ways after their 2-1 defeat against Burnley last week in the Championship.
Via Twitter, West Brom have shared the playing eleven for this game with Corberan making as many as five changes from the previous game.
Karlan Grant returns to the starting line-up. The experienced striker will partner with Daryl Dike upfront. Alex Palmer has been dropped to the bench as well. John Swift is absent and so is Erik Pieters.
The likes of David Button, Adam Reach, Semi Ajayi and Tom Rogic have also made it to the starting line-up.
Cup win
The Robins lost 2-0 against the Baggies when Corberan’s side came to visit at Ashton Gate in the league on Boxing Day.
However, they seem have gathered some momentum following their victory over Swansea City in the third round of the competition.
They’ve been unbeaten since under Nigel Pearson, although the club remain 17th in the Championship table. However, it’s a cup game, and they can expect to cause an upset.

West Brom are on a great run at the moment, and they are emerging as one of the favourites for the top six.
The Baggies have won nine of their last 11 league games, and the confidence is overflowing in the side. They defeated Chesterfield 4-0 in the previous round, and it should be a cracking contest.
The defeat against Burnley must have hurt the Baggies, but there were plenty of positives from that game.
The cup games are hard to predict, but the Baggies should be able to see off Bristol’s challenge.
In other West Brom news, this striker has been spotted at Birmingham New Street ahead of joining the Baggies.
