Chris Lepkowski blown away by bizarre Daryl Dike moment in West Brom win over Wigan Athletic
Chris Lepkowski admits that he had never seen a goal being scored in the same manner as Daryl Dike did for West Brom against Wigan Athletic.
The Baggies secured three crucial points with a 1-0 victory at the Hawthorns on Tuesday, 7 March as they continue their quest for promotion.
Carlos Corberan’s men are now in 9th place and are in contention to qualify for the play-offs.
Via Twitter, Lepkowski wrote, “What a bizarre goal. Not sure I’ve seen anything like that before.”
Needed
Bizarre or not, West Brom need goals like that and they’re going to be taking it no questions asked.
They’ve been unlucky in the past few seasons and if there’s luck going their way for a change, they certainly deserve it.
Dike arrived at the Hawthorns to plenty of fanfare and as long as he continues getting his name on goals like that, things are going to be on the rise for him.

The Baggies find themselves in 9th place currently and are within touching distance of a play-off position, something Corberan deserves credit for.
The plan was to keep them in the hunt as in the final few weeks of the season, things can change ever so quickly.
Four points are not too much of a margin and one that can be closed in two games so there’s no need to do anything extraordinary and just continue what’s been going on.
In other West Brom news, a defender may never feature for the club again after what happened and may even leave for free.
