Grady Diangana and Semi Ajayi 100% – Early West Brom team news v Birmingham

Carlos Corberan has revealed that both Grady Diangana and Semi Ajayi will be available for the West Brom clash against Birmingham City on Friday (6 October).

Speaking to BirminghamLive on Thursday (5 October), the Albion boss revealed that the pair will be back to 100 per cent ahead of the trip to St Andrew’s.

The Baggies duo were both named on the bench for the 1-0 victory over Sheffield Wednesday at the Hawthorns on Tuesday (3 October), but after Diangana was suffering through illness and Ajayi has been carrying an ankle injury, they are now in contention to start against the Blues.

Bonus

It will come as a bonus to have the pair back up to full fitness after neither of them have been quite right over the past couple of weeks.

With the injuries West Brom are currently facing, they need as many fit and healthy players available as possible for the derby game on Friday.

There are question marks over whether either of them will start, though, after Albion have recorded back-to-back victories over Preston North End and Sheffield Wednesday over the past week.

West Brom

But Corberan may consider freshening things up for the clash at St Andrew’s due to the packed schedule they have been having to contend with recently.

He may feel that he just has one more game to get his players through, however, as there is a two-week international break after this fixture and he will want to have his best possible side out there to earn what would be a statement win against their city rivals.

In other West Brom news, Adrian Goldberg has been left “surprised” following a club announcement.
