The forward positions have certainly been an area of great need for the Baggies boss who has been forced to play Jed Wallace in an unfamiliar up-front because of his lack of options in the position.

And it’s a tactical decision that has so far proven a masterstroke with West Brom in great form right now, unbeaten in their last five games and currently sitting in fifth place in the Championship table.

However, the Spaniard is certainly set to be further boosted by the instant returns of Josh Maja and John Swift after the international break with big man Dike set to follow suit in December.

Should the Baggies be in and around the play-off or promotion places until then, then they could well be in for a strong last five months of the campaign. Let’s hope Corberan’s squad stays injury-free until then and after Christmas.
