West Brom midfielder John Swift may not return before the end of 2023 amid his thigh injury, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert claims that he will be doing individual training with the physio and still not with the first team in their training.
Carlos Corberan revealed on 9 November that Swift is behind Maja in his recovery with the striker expected back after the international break. [Birmingham Live]
Speaking exclusively with West Brom News about Dike’s injury, Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and Sports Scientist, said:
“I imagine he’s still mostly in individual physio work and individual training, if any on pitch work.

“He’s behind Josh Maja so is certainly going to miss the next few games.
“Whether he returns to action before the end of the year is also uncertain, as things stand.”
Swift has been in red hot form this season for the Baggies and has been one of the first names on the team sheet for Corberan.
In 11 league games, he’s scored six goals and provided one assist and has played in a plethora of positions for West Brom.
Corberan will be hoping that he recovers soon and is available in December itself as there are some crucial games in which he’ll want Swift to make a difference.
