Grady Diangana should face brutal Carlos Corberan axe at West Brom after what happened against Stoke City
West Brom were held to a disappointing draw at home to Stoke City in the Championship on Sunday (17 December).
Stoke’s Lyden Gooch opened the scoring at The Hawthorns after just 12 minutes, with Brandon Thomas-Asante equalising for the hosts in the 35th minute.
Albion manager Carlos Corberan won’t be too pleased with his players after the stalemate, which leaves West Brom fifth in the table.

The boss won’t be quick to single out any players, but one Baggies man who will perhaps be disappointed with his latest display at The Hawthorns is Grady Diangana.
The attacker only completed 19 of his 27 passes, won just one of his eight ground duels and did not have a single shot at goal [Sofascore].
Furthermore, Diangana was dribbled past once and lost possession of the ball 16 times before Corberan hooked him for Tom Fellows in the 72nd minute.
Diangana has four goals and three assists to his name this season, and while he is creating and scoring goals more than many others, such figures from 17 appearances are perhaps a little light.

Corberan will want all of his players at the very top of their game given the ambitions at The Hawthorns this season, meaning it may be time for the man in the dugout to hand the winger a brief rest next time out.
Diangana could, therefore, face a brutal axe from his manager when the Baggies travel to Middlesbrough on Saturday (23 December).
Given the busy schedule, it may not be the worst decision in the world, with West Brom hosting Norwich City at The Hawthorns just three days later.
In other West Brom news, a mid-January takeover completion date has been mooted for the Baggies as the clock ticks.
