Grady Diangana now fighting for West Brom future after what Carlos Corberan said about Stoke City draw
West Brom missed the chance to really put themselves in contention for promotion with their draw at home to Stoke City.
The managerless Potters fought hard to pick up a point in their 1-1 draw with the Albion at The Hawthorns on Sunday (17 December).
Lynden Gooch put the visitors ahead after just 12 minutes, with Brandon Thomas-Asante netting an equaliser in the 35th minute.

It was a frustrating afternoon for those connected with the Baggies, with manager Carlos Corberan not holding back on his wingers in particular after the stalemate.
“What you need to do is to create more; there were possibilities we should have used more times to attack more,” said Corberan, as quoted by Sky Sports.
“It was not difficult to progress on the sides, we did not progress with determination. For me we should have created more from every single winger that was playing on the pitch.”
The Baggies manager started Jeremy Sarmiento and Grady Diangana in those positions, with the latter now fighting for his future at the club after the comments.

The former is only on loan at The Hawthorns from Brighton and is set to return to the Premier League club at the end of the season.
But fellow winger Diangana has a contract that will expire in the summer of 2025, with his manager surely starting to consider the player’s future as that deadline gets closer and closer.
Such comments so close to a transfer window do not bode well for the likes of Diangana, with Corberan clearly wanting more in the wide areas as he looks to get the club out of the Championship and into the Premier League.
In other West Brom news, Tony Brown has named one player as “the reason” behind the 1-1 draw against Stoke at The Hawthorns.
