Jamie O’Hara hits back at West Brom fan live on talkSPORT ahead of ‘huge’ Wolves tie in FA Cup
Jamie O’Hara was quick to hit back at a West Brom fan live on air after his former side Wolves set up a fourth-round tie at The Hawthorns.
Wolves beat Brentford 3-2 in their third-round replay on Tuesday (16 January) and will now face Black Country foes West Brom on 28 January.
The sides last faced off in the 2020-21 campaign, with both fixtures played behind closed doors due to the Covid pandemic.

Not since 2012 have they met in front of fans, with Albion winning 5-1 at Molineux – a game that O’Hara played a full part in.
The ex-Wolves player was reminded of that by co-host Jason Cundy and a West Brom fan called Josh live on talkSPORT [16 January, 10:41pm].
“The last time there were fans there, 12 years ago, do you remember what happened?” Cundy asked. “What was the score again?”
A red-faced O’Hara replied: “It was bad day at the office. I remember that game. But Josh will remember the one I scored from 40 yards. That’s the best goal you’ve seen down there.
“It’s going to be a huge, huge game. 11:45 kick-off – it shows you the type of game that’s going to be.”
Good record
Not that any West Brom fan ever wants to see Wolves do well, but it was hard not to get excited when they saw off Brentford.
This is a game that needs no building up, and we can now officially start crossing off the days until the showdown at the end of the month.
The 5-1 victory referred to was one of the most memorable in this famous fixture’s history, with Peter Odemwingie the hat-trick hero that day.

While O’Hara did indeed score a long-range goal against Albion in February 2011, he failed to mention Carlos Vela netted a late leveller that day.
Indeed, West Brom have lost just one of their last 10 meetings with Wolves, and just two of the past 15.
That is a run the Baggies will be eager to maintain in this latest encounter, even if Wolves are currently a division higher.
Before long, the excitement will no doubt turn to nerves ahead of a fixture Albion dare not lose.
In other West Brom news, the pressure is now on Carlos Corberan to reach the Premier League after a “jetpack” claim was made.
