Doctor shares Jordan James medical verdict amid Newcastle Wolves and West Brom transfer links

We’re delighted to welcome injury expert Dr Rajpal Brar as our exclusive columnist. Each week he’ll be giving his views on the injury situation at West Brom.

Reported West Brom, Wolves and Crystal Palace target Jordan James should have no issues passing his medical, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.

Italian newspaper Corriere Della Sera Bergamo reported in its print edition on Sunday (21 January) that the Baggies and Newcastle were among the teams keen on signing the £8.6million-rated Birmingham City midfielder.

Fabrizio Romano reported on 27 January that Wolves are also in the hunt to secure the services of the 19-year-old.

The injury expert claims he’s ideal in terms of his fitness and the fact that he’s made eight senior appearances for Wales will also help.

Speaking exclusively with West Brom News about James’ situation, Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and Sports Scientist, said: “James is definitely ideal or near ideal in terms of injury history and fitness.

He will have no issues passing his medical.

It bodes well that he’s experienced international games at such a young age.

A move to the Championship will not cause any issues and he should adapt to the conditions quickly even if a Premier League club signs him.

West Brom undoubtedly will have a tough time signing the midfielder ahead of clubs in the Premier League.

James has already proven he can dominate in the second tier and if a top-flight chance came his way, he’d find it hard to turn down.

Had the Baggies been in Leicester’s place where they were all but guaranteed promotion, it might have been a different story altogether.

In other West Brom news, the Baggies are now extremely keen on securing a deal for a Premier League striker in January who made headlines this season.
