West Brom Police share brutal two-word message after what happened to Wolves

A West Brom police page has sent a brutal two-word message after Wolves suffered a defeat in the FA Cup against Coventry City on Saturday (16 March).

Writing on its Twitter page on Saturday, WBA Police, which is a dedicated arm of the West Midlands force, simply put “Chin up” and tagged the Wolves police page in the post after Wanderers lost 3-2 to the Light Blues in their quarter-final fixture.

Gary O’Neil’s side made it to the last eight after they overcame Albion in the fourth round of the competition on 28 January, where crowd trouble at The Hawthorns largely dominated the headlines.

West Brom delighted by Wolves defeat

The late Wolves defeat against Coventry has certainly brought plenty of delight to the West Brom fans as it’s always good to see your rivals lose.

Wanderers will have been fully expecting to secure their place in the semi-finals of the FA Cup, but an injury-time winner from Haji Wright ensured it was the Light Blues who earned their place at Wembley.

Albion would probably like their chance again in the Black Country derby after they put in a largely disappointing performance against their rivals.

But Carlos Corberan will be hoping they get another crack at them next season by securing promotion to the Premier League this year.

The Baggies’ 2-0 victory over Bristol City on Saturday has put them in an excellent position to go on and earn a place in the playoffs in this campaign.
