West Brom: Jeff Stelling gushes over Tom Fellows in new transfer prediction live on talkSPORT

West Brom gem Tom Fellows will leave the Baggies “one day” following his incredible start to his career with the Baggies, according to Jeff Stelling.

The 20-year-old is enjoying an excellent breakthrough campaign in the Championship under Carlos Corberan’s management and has managed to score four goals and lay on three assists in 11 league starts.

While Stelling has been blown away by the winger’s displays at The Hawthorns so far this season, he doesn’t think he’ll leave the Baggies this summer, despite previous transfer interest from Newcastle United.

Speaking on talkSPORT on Tuesday (2 April, 7:58) he said: “I’m going to mention one more because time is against us and he’s not going to move, but but he will one day. Tom Fellows at West Brom.

“This boy looks a player to me. He’s 20, he’s swift, there’s been interest in him in the past. He’s just signed an extension to his contract with West Brom which will keep him there until 2027 and he said it was an easy decision.

“I don’t think he’s on the move right now but I tell you what, he’s a jolly good fellows.”

Will West Brom keep Tom Fellows in the summer transfer window?

While the likes of Mikey Johnston, Grady Diangana and Alex Mowatt have received a majority of the plaudits at The Hawthorns this season, Fellows has been the Baggies’ surprise package, going from strength to strength under Corberan.

The winger has looked a natural in his first season of Championship football and is nice to see him get the sort of recognition he deserves from both pundits and on the international stage with the England youth sides.

Hopefully, Albion supporters will see plenty more of the 20-year-old in the coming seasons as it doesn’t seem as though Fellows will push for The Hawthorns exit door this summer, even with interest rising in the Premier League.

Most fans will be hoping that the winger makes the step up the divisions with Albion this season if Corberan’s side manages to impress in the playoffs, but there is still plenty of football to be played before that will be possible.
