Aston Villa seal transfer for another West Brom midfielder

Aston Villa have confirmed the signing of West Brom midfielder Max Jenner in their latest scholarship drive at Villa Park.

Villa announced the news on their official website, with the 16-year-old able to play in multiple attacking positions.

Jenner has also reacted to the news on his personal Instagram account, sharing an image of his signing the contract for the move to become official.

He wrote: “Proud to have signed for Aston Villa.”

Aston Villa seal yet another new West Brom transfer

This is a sense of same old news for the Baggies, who have seen far too many of their young talents make this same move.

Tim Iroegbunam is one of those and he has recently made the permanent switch to Everton in the summer transfer window.

Carlos Corberan has opened the door to younger talents at The Hawthorns since his arrival, with Tom Fellows the biggest beneficiary of that.

The winger has signed a new contract in the past year, and Jeff Stelling has already tipped him for another move in the future, maybe bigger than Villa.

Something needs to change to stop this from happening so much though, with some very talented players leaving the club far too easily.

Corberan will be making that clear and Shilen Patel will surely want to make changes following his takeover to keep the best where they are.

That is something to watch, it needs to stop.
