Andy Johnson sets new challenge to ‘sensational’ West Brom ace Tom Fellows
West Brom winger Tom Fellows has been challenged by former Albion star Andy Johnson to “mix it up” and “evolve” his game for the new season.
After an impressive breakthrough campaign, where Fellows scored five goals in 38 appearances and earned an England U20 call-up, Johnson believes the young talent must find new ways to improve as he’ll be a marked man next term.
Johnson is confident Fellows, who rose through the club’s academy, can meet the challenge.
Speaking on the Express & Star’s podcast Baggies Broadcast on Monday (July 22), Johnson said: “He has to mix his game up and go on to the next step, but I’ve got no doubt the lad can do it, he is a sensational talent.
“He will feature in everyone’s team talk next season, so he needs to evolve his game.”
