West Brom have confirmed Mega Riches will be the club’s official back-of-shirt sponsor for the 2024/25 season, to the fury of supporters on social media.
Albion fans have voiced their opposition to the latest partnership from the club – with some even directly tagging owner and chairman Shilen Patel in their comments to share their disdain.
The online casino’s brand will feature on all men’s and women’s team kits this season, as revealed on the club’s official website on Thursday morning [8 August].
Financially, the club find themselves in a precarious situation regarding PSR and several senior players may still join experienced teammates through the exit door at The Hawthorns to raise funds this month [Chris Lepkowski, 4 August] – the sponsorship deal will hand Patel and the club a welcome boost.

One has tagged Patel and said to him: “I think we could do better than this and maybe go partnership with a mental health charity?”
