West Brom got off to an unbelievable start in the new Championship season on Saturday 10 August, cruising to a 3-1 win against Queens Park Rangers.

Josh Maja led the line for Carlos Corberan after an injury-hit year, repaying the Spaniard with a hattrick at Loftus Road with three quality finishes.

Torbjorn Heggem was one who stood out though on top of that, with the new signing playing at left-back and picking up a brilliant assist in the opening 45 minutes.

For only £525,000 [Expressen], this already looks to be another bargain transfer for the Baggies, who will be looking for more of the same before August 30.

West Brom will next return to Carabao Cup action against Fleetwood Town on August 13, before another huge Championship game against Leeds United at The Hawthorns.
