Carlos Corberan shared a "lovely" moment with Tony Brown after West Brom claimed a 2-1 victory over Stoke City on Saturday (24 August).

Having made 720 appearances for the Baggies between 1963 and 1980, "Bomber" Brown is a well-respected, much-loved figure at The Hawthorns, one who is not afraid to share his opinion.

Any moment like this between the club legend and the current manager will always be something that melts the hearts of the passionate fans, especially after an away victory in the Championship.

Taking to X on Saturday (24 August), Jonny Drury wrote: "Lovely moment at the Bet365 Stadium. Waited outside the press conference room with Bomber. Corberan comes out and greets him with a 'hello boss' - lovely interaction between the two."

Given how difficult this summer has been for Corberan and the Baggies, it comes as a good sign to see the manager respected and believed in by one of the club's biggest legends.

The Spaniard is certainly the man for the job at The Hawthorns, even with the plethora of exits throughout the summer transfer window to combat the risk of PSR punishments.

The Baggies have started the 2024/25 campaign in sparkling form, despite being knocked out of the EFL Cup, with victories against Stoke and QPR, as well as a hard-fought draw against Leeds United.

After just three matches, Corberan's side are sitting pretty in fourth place, occupying a play-off spot, and that will be where the Baggies want to finish the season if they are to have a hope of securing promotion.

Of course, it is extremely early on in the football calendar, but the signs have been positive so far at The Hawthorns, and Brown's continued relationship with Corberan can only be another of those signs.
