Grady Diangana injury news emerges ahead of West Brom v Sheffield Wednesday
Grady Diangana may be ready to start the West Brom v Sheffield Wednesday clash on 28 September post his shoulder injury, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert claims that his setback was not as serious as first feared but the club will continue to monitor his training to see if there is any discomfort.
The 26-year-old attacking midfielder came off the bench in the wins against Portsmouth and Plymouth, playing 23 and 27 minutes respectively.
Reacting to his situation, injury expert Dr Brar – who is a physical therapy specialist and sports scientist – has told West Brom News:
“Looks like the shoulder injury wasn’t as bad as expected and he was able to train before the international break, albeit with some discomfort.
“He’s returned to action and got minutes off the bench in back-to-back games which is ideal for him to regain fitness.
“The key is to continue to be gradual and methodical with his training process and make sure the discomfort level is within allowable limits if there is any.
“He may not be ready for the full 90 minutes yet, but could start if he’s stopped feeling discomfort in his shoulder.”
Grady Diangana is unlikely to start for West Brom v Sheffield Wednesday
Diangana is yet to start a game for Carlos Corberan’s side this season with all four of his league appearances coming off the bench.
The Baggies have enjoyed a flying start to the season so the Spaniard is unlikely to want to change his starting eleven.

However, a fully fit Diangana is an important asset to have on the bench and he can have an impact in the latter stages of games.
In other West Brom news, the Baggies will certainly be on high alert as a chance to seal a new free agent transfer may still be on the cards.
