West Brom continued their winless streak in the Championship with a 0-0 draw against Cardiff City at The Hawthorns on Saturday (26 October).
The Baggies recorded a fourth consecutive draw and a third 0-0 scoreline for Carlos Corberan across a six-match winless run in the league.
Albion’s form has badly faltered in the Championship ever since losing 3-2 against Sheffield Wednesday as they continue to look flat-footed in front goal.
While the forwards failed to deliver on the day, Ajayi became the subject of intense criticism from the West Brom faithful, despite keeping another clean sheet in the match against his former side.

The West Brom faithful held nothing back on social media when critiquing the centre-back’s performance at The Hawthorns.
One supported dubbed him “dodgy” while another said he was “woeful” as the supporters unleashed their fury after yet another disappointing result for the side.
Ajayi has endured a tough time in the West Midlands recently and even more so now, as the underperforming attackers escape scrutiny for failing to find the back of the net in three of the last four outings.
However, it seems Albion fans are growing tired of the 30-year-old as the search for a victory continues.
The Baggies, who sat at the top of the Championship table at the start of October, now linger in fifth place after the draw, eight points off the pace of league leaders Sunderland.
