West Brom fans have been delighted by the addition of Torbjorn Heggem since his move to West Brom in the summer.

The 25-year-old has started all 16 of the Baggies' Championship games so far, most recently moving into the centre of defence, and once again starred during a 2-2 draw with Norwich City on Saturday 23 November.

While Heggem did score an own goal, there was little he could do to avoid it, with Mason Holgate and Josh Maja helping to secure a point at The Hawthorns.

The natural left-back completed 90 minutes alongside Holgate, with Kyle Bartley, Paddy McNair and Semi Ajayi spending time in the treatment room for their respective injuries.

Reacting to footage from the club's official social media accounts, one fan wrote, "I am moved by this man", while another labelled him a "colossus" for his performance against the Canaries.

Heggem has been somewhat of a saviour for Carlos Corberan, with the Spaniard suffering multiple injuries at the same time, but the Baggies have made the best out of a bad situation.

Despite drawing seven of their last eight games in the Championship, Corberan's side are unbeaten in this period and boast four clean sheets, and fans can certainly thank Heggem.

With upcoming fixtures coming up against Sunderland, Preston North End, Sheffield United and Coventry City, his defensive abilities will be truly tested and fans will have full faith in him now.
