Leicester fans want Corberan as new manager amid West Brom exit development
Leicester City fans have been left rather jubilant amid their recent links with West Brom boss Carlos Corberan.
The Spaniard has been linked as one of the favourites to take over from Steve Cooper after the former Nottingham Forest manager was relieved of his duties.
The Foxes currently sit just outside of the Premier League relegation zone in 16th place while the Baggies currently reside sixth in the Championship.

Corberan has gone from strength to strength in his two-and-a-half-year spell at The Hawthorns and even led the Baggies to a playoff finish last term.
Across the summer, the Spaniard was consistently linked with a move away with Leicester being one of the team’s interested in acquiring his services.
However, they chose to go for Cooper instead and now find themselves looking for a new manager.
In response to the recent links with the Spaniard, Foxes fans took to social media to express their jubilance of being linked with Corberan with one fan writing: “Carlos Corberan for me. Arguably the best manager in the Championship. An excellent pragmatist and tactician. Would work with what he has to maximise #LCFC’s abilities.
Another fan shared that they believed he was the “perfect” man for the role. “Very defence coach, builds from the back, in a strange way perfect for the bottom of the Premier League.”
Only time will tell what the future has in store for Corberan and West Brom but if these recent links with Leicester are anything to go off, it feels like it’s going to become increasingly difficult for the Baggies to keep hold of their boss.
Nothing is yet set in stone, of course, but if the Foxes want to retain their Premier League status, they’ll likely need to find a new manager soon.
