Mowbray ready for full-time manager job as ex-West Brom boss continues recovery
Tony Mowbray is looking to return to full-time management as the former West Brom boss continues his recovery, according to Alan Nixon.
The journalist reported to his Patreon on 15 December that the 61-year-old is ready to work again after standing down at Birmingham City after a health scare.
The ex-Baggies manager was diagnosed with cancer earlier in the year but his rehabilitation has now helped him to a point where a return to work is on the cards.
The former Celtic boss has watched several games of different clubs and is open to taking on a full-time role with a new side.
Former West Brom boss Tony Mowbray ready for new role
The experienced head coach is well-respected at The Hawthorns and in the footballing world in general.
It was a bitter blow for everyone associated with Mowbray when he was forced to give up his role at Birmingham for health reasons.
That was obviously what was required and has now allowed him to return to a point where he is well enough to return to work.
There is no doubt that the ex-Baggies boss would represent a coup for multiple Championship sides given his experiences across over 22 years as a manager.

His last full spell as a manager came with Sunderland who he took all the way to the playoffs with the likes of Amad Diallo and Jack Clarke playing a key role.
With that being said, it will be interesting to see where he lands in the search for a new club after a tough period in his life.
