West Brom need Josh Maja to step up ahead of Bristol City clash
Josh Maja has been out of form at West Brom and that must change if the Baggies are to secure victory against Bristol City on Sunday.
The Baggies forward has failed to score in any of the last five Championship encounters with exit speculation continuing to grow.
West Brom have tasted victory in just two of their last 15 Championship fixtures with their most recent clash ending in a defeat to Watford.
If the Baggies are to end this wretched run of form, they need to see more from Maja among several other players.
Josh Maja form is a concern for West Brom
Given how well Maja started the season, it is certainly a concern to see how much that form has dropped off in recent weeks and his halftime hooking against Coventry summed it up.
He is a quality player for Championship level but that reputation has drastically fallen away with some dreadful performances during a horrid period for Carlos Corberan’s side.
Simply put, West Brom need to start winning games or risk completely falling out of the race for a promotion push which they made such a good start to.

Corberan has come under pressure but it’s his players that have let him down recently and until that changes, this run of form will go on and it will have a huge effect on the remainder of the campaign.
A home clash against Bristol City on 22 December provides an excellent opportunity to get back to winning ways but performances will have to improve.
In other West Brom news, Corberan’s stance on the Southampton job has been revealed.
