West Brom are unlikely to appoint David Moyes as their next manager after the exit of Carlos Corberan, according to Express and Star.
The Baggies will receive around £4 million in compensation after Valencia agreed to appoint the Spanish manager [Ben Jacobs, 24 December], and now the Scotsman is one of the names being linked with the Baggies after Valencia appointed the Spanish manager.
Moyes is “almost certainly” out of The Albions’ range, though, and might wait for an opportunity to manage in the Premier League again.
The 61-year-old left West Ham United in the summer after winning the Europa Conference League title at the London Stadium in 2023.
