West Brom make announcement for Premier League 2 game v Liverpool
The Premier League 2 game between West Brom and Liverpool has been rescheduled to 2pm on Saturday 18 January.
The Baggies confirmed via their official website (8 January) that the game, which was originally set to take place on Sunday 19 January, has now been moved.
At the moment, West Brom are sitting 20th in the Premier League 2 ahead of the likes of Tottenham and Aston Villa.
West Brom Under-21s need to pick up their form in Premier League 2
The 2024/25 season has been one that West Brom’s Under-21s will likely want to forget as soon as possible.
The Black Country club are currently sat on 11 points and have only won one out of their last five games in the league.
As the Premier League 2 is a 26-team division, it feels like a lot more could be coming from the Baggies as there’s bound to be a fair few teams who are worse off than what they are.
Players such as Harry Whitwell have put in impressive performances over the course of the campaign but it feels like more needs to come from the rest of the squad.

Of course, they’re not expected to be fighting for the top spots in the division but it feels like more could come from them.
As their game against Liverpool is now a day earlier, it feels like they’ll have less time to prepare but there’s no reason why they can’t cause an upset and start to make their way back up the table.
In other West Brom news, a new manager is expected to be in the dugout against Stoke.
