West Brom optimistic they can agree Tony Mowbray deal after update tonight
West Brom are now optimistic they can agree a deal to appoint Tony Mowbray, according to Alex Crook.
The talkSPORT reporter claimed on 16 January that talks have restarted and the Baggies are confident that a deal can be reached with their former boss.

Albion have been without a manager since Christmas Day when Carlos Corberan left for Valencia.
West Brom manager search finally set to conclude?
The former Baggies boss returning to The Hawthorns would be a poetic moment, especially given his recent health issues.
His first stint was very successful, he took the club into the Premier League by winning the Championship title in the 2007/08 season.
Albion’s search for a new manager has dragged on since Corberan departed with plans to appoint the likes of Raphael Wicky and Rene Hake falling through.

The process is hindering the Black Country club’s transfer business and they need somebody in place soon so they can get deals done to maintain their playoff push until the end of the season.
Mowbray would certainly be a solid appointment to build on the progress that Corberan made, given his second most recent job was taking Sunderland into the playoffs.
At the moment, he looks like the standout candidate and the West Midlands outfit should move quickly to secure their man before another appointment falls through.
In other West Brom news, Albion supporters have been criticised for their treatment of Everton loanee Mason Holgate.
