
West Brom transfer round-up: Forward agrees exit, Tom Fellows a wanted man
After Tony Mowbray’s return to West Brom, the boss will be looking to add to his squad before the closing of the winter transfer window as he looks to take his side to a play-off finish.
One key area where the Baggies need to strengthen is up top due to top scorer Josh Maja being set for a period on the sidelines through injury.
However, after a 5-1 win against Portsmouth on Saturday (25 January), the boss will be feeling some relief that he has players with the ability to score goals already in his team.

Grady Diangana set for West Brom exit
Grady Diangana is set to leave The Hawthorns before the closure of the winter transfer window, to make the move to Celta Vigo, according to Africa Foot [29 January].
The news outlet shared that friends of the forward revealed that an agreement in principle to join the La Liga side before the conclusion of the transfer window has been reached.
With the 26-year-old out of contract at the end of the campaign, an exit does not come as a big surprise. However, the Baggies are said to want £2.6million for their player which is leaving them locked in talks with Celta over a potential deal.
Premier League interest in Tom Fellows
One man who will be crucial to West Brom’s push for the play-offs this term, is Tom Fellows who has been a standout performer for his side with two goals and 10 assists across the campaign so far.
Although there has been interest in the 21-year-old from sides in the top flight during the winter transfer window, [DOOD, 29 January].

Mowbray seems to have his sights set firmly on a top-six finish with his side this term and he will know that he can’t afford to lose any key players if this is going to be an achievable aim.
West Brom open to midfielder loan deal
Albion are weighing up sanctioning a loan deal for Harry Whitwell before the closure of the transfer window with the midfielder attracting serious interest from a number of EFL clubs.
According to West Brom Xtra (28 January), Cheltenham Town, Northampton Town and Bristol Rovers have all registered their interest in gaining the 19-year-old’s services for the remainder of the campaign.
The Baggies boss is yet to make a firm decision on this but DOOD (28 January) has also reported interest from a series of League One and Two clubs which could encourage Mowbray to give the youngster a chance to get game time elsewhere.
