West Brom new signing ruled out v Sheffield Wednesday and Blackburn

West Brom new signing Tammer Bany will not be involved in clashes against Sheffield Wednesday or Blackburn Rovers.

The Danish attacker completed a last-gasp switch to The Hawthorns on deadline day, signing a three-and-a-half-year contract in the Black Country.

The Baggies paid Randers £3.35million to sign the 21-year-old [DOOD] and as a result, his addition was met with plenty of excitement.

Despite this, the Albion faithful will have to be patient to see more of the forward after the latest update ahead of back-to-back home clashes in the Championship.

Tammer Bany to miss upcoming West Brom clashes

The winter addition was signed on 3 February but only arrived at the training ground on Friday morning (7 February), according to Lewis Cox.

The Daily Star journalist reported that the Dane will not be involved in the Baggies’ clash against Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday (8 January).

This is fair given his lack of time with the squad but it has also been suggested that the attacker will be missing for the clash against Blackburn on Wednesday (12 February).

This could prove to make sense given the lack of time Bany would have to get to know and get used to his teammates at the Baggies.

With that being said, it may prove to be supporters travelling to The Hawthorns who were hoping to see the new man in action.

Tony Mowbray to go without Tammer Bany v Blackburn and Sheffield Wednesday

Given that a multi-million-pound fee was spent on the Randers ace less than a week ago, it is frustrating that he arrived in the UK just a day before a game, ruling him out.

The addition of his talents to the squad would have been useful although Mowbray will surely feel comfortable with the other players available to him.

Isaac Price came in during the winter window as well and has already put in multiple positive performances which is a boost.

Although it is a blow to be without the new signing from Denmark, there will be plenty of expectation when he finally does make an appearance in the West Midlands later this month.
