Heggem misses West Brom training ahead of Championship clash v Norwich
West Brom travel to Norwich on Saturday with hopes of strengthening their grip on a Championship play-off position.
The Baggies still sit sixth despite the fact that they have won just one of their last four games, when they beat QPR 1-0 on Saturday 8 March.
Meanwhile, Norwich have lost both of their last two games and have slipped down to 13th in the Championship table.
The Canaries still boast a slim chance of reaching the play-offs, though, and could pose a threat to Albion with dangerous attackers such as Borja Sainz and Josh Sargent among their ranks.

Tony Mowbray reveals why Torbjorn Heggem missed West Brom training
Baggies defender Torbjorn Heggem was not present at his side’s training session on Thursday after making two appearances for Norway in the international break.
Boss Tony Mowbray told the Express & Star: “A few didn’t train today (Thursday) because they got back last night (Wednesday), so it’s like second day of recovery.
“Heggem played Tuesday, (Isaac) Price played Tuesday, Grady (Diangana) played Tuesday, so none of them trained.”

Heggem has been a class act for the Baggies this season
West Brom supporters will be pleased to know that Heggem’s absence from training on Thursday was not due to an injury concern but because he was still recovering from his international duties.
Heggem played the full 90 minutes on Tuesday when Norway defeated Israel 4-2 in a World Cup qualifier, and he also played for 57 minutes when his national side beat Moldova 5-0 last Saturday.

The Baggies have one of the best defences in the Championship this term, having conceded just 34 goals in 38 outings, which is three fewer than fourth-place Sunderland.
Summer signing Heggem has played a huge role in that success as he has been ever-present in the Albion backline and has shown his class at second-tier level.
He also scored when West Brom drew 2-2 with automatic promotion hopefuls Sheffield United on 8 December, further demonstrating his importance.
Taking on a free-scoring Norwich side without Heggem’s presence could have been a tough assignment for the Baggies, who will be grateful to hear he remains injury-free.
