Daryl Dike loves what West Brom teammate has just shared on Instagram
Daryl Dike has struggled to make an impact on the pitch for West Brom but he is still spreading positive vibes among the squad.
The American striker has featured just seven times as injuries continue to wreak havoc on his spell at The Hawthorns.
Hopefully, he can put his injury nightmare behind him and play a crucial role in Albion’s playoff ambitions as the season comes to a close.
One thing is for sure, his relationship with his teammates is strong even though he has not played much on the pitch with them.

Dike reacts as West Brom make Heggem announcement
Torbjorn Heggem was named as the Baggies player’s player of the season and also won the supporters’ award at the end of season ceremony.
He took to Instagram to share his delight, saying: “Truly honoured to be named player of the season. Huge thanks to my teammates, the staff and especially the fans – your support means everything.”
Dike reacted to the post, saying: “Love that Heggy,” with a heart emoji.
West Brom need to ensure Heggem stays
The Norway international has emerged as a key man for the Baggies since joining last summer, making 39 Championship appearances in a brilliant debut campaign in English football.
The 26-year-old has been arguably the most influential figure in Tony Mowbray’s promotion push and his impact will be crucial in the last few weeks of the campaign as Albion try to ensure a top-six finish and a potential promotion berth.
Championship | Played | GD | Points |
6. Coventry | 42 | +5 | 63 |
7. West Brom | 42 | +12 | 60 |
8. Middlesbrough | 42 | +10 | 60 |
They have a favourable run of matches, with a trip to Coventry (18 April) followed by three matches against relegation strugglers.
Mowbray’s side will face Derby, Cardiff and Luton in their last three and if they can get a positive result against Frank Lampard’s team, they will fancy their chances of making the end-of-season showdown.
It is no surprise that Heggem won the fan voted award as he was the heavy favourite once the Black Country club announced that voting was open.
Given the high level of his performances, there is every chance that he will attract interest in the summer transfer window from bigger clubs.
However, the West Midlands outfit must keep hold of their Norwegian star, regardless of what division they are in next season, whether that be the Premier League or the second tier.
