Corberan named as early next Brentford boss contender as favourite revealed
Carlos Corberan is understandably not short of admirers as the former West Brom boss is linked with the vacant Brentford manager job.
Despite a strong start to the season, Corberan departed The Hawthorns in December last year to join La Liga outfit Valencia.
The Spaniard has enjoyed a strong stint in Spain, with a 2-1 victory over Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu a particular highlight.
However, his time in his homeland could end soon amid news of Thomas Frank’s expected departure to Tottenham.

Corberan linked with Brentford hot seat as Thomas Frank departs
West Brom only recently announced their new manager in Ryan Mason, who begins his first permanent managerial role.
He will be tasked with achieving a top-six finish, which Tony Mowbray was unable to do after replacing Corberan.
While Baggies supporters will be focused on their new gaffer, some will keep a close eye on developments involving Corberan.
The 42-year-old has been linked with Premier League jobs in the past, but has since been making his mark in Spain.
His club, Valencia, finished the La Liga season in 12th position, six points clear of the bottom three.
During his six-month stint with Los Che, Corberan has guided the Spanish outfit to 11 wins, seven draws, and six losses.

His form has not gone unnoticed, and Premier League links have emerged in the form of Brentford, who are set to lose Thomas Frank.
Corberan is among the early favourites to take the Bees’ hotseat and can be found at odds of 20/1, according to talkSPORT BET (9 June).
That makes him the joint-11th favourite to take charge, with Justin Cochrane – Frank’s current right-hand man – currently the favourite at 4/7

Corberan likely to remain at Valencia amid Bees links
Whether the former Baggies boss could have led them to the Premier League will never be known.
Understandably, the Valencia job was too good to refuse, considering it is the birthplace of Corberan.
Prising him away from there will be difficult, and although Brentford are an appetising option, he will likely stay in Spain.
Of course, the opportunity to prove himself in the Premier League could be too good to turn down, but he has had opportunities before.
It is difficult to predict who will take the Brentford hotseat, but it is unlikely to be Corberan.
