West Brom ‘concern raised’ after what Isaac Price did for Northern Ireland
Isaac Price had a terrific evening on international duty as he inspired Northern Ireland to a 1-0 win over Iceland.
The West Brom star scored the only goal of the game in the friendly victory at Windsor Park.
Price may not have been with the Baggies for long, signing for the Black Country club in the winter transfer window, but his performances elsewhere are already raising questions about his future.

Price shines for Northern Ireland
Since joining West Brom, Price has made 15 Championship appearances, contributing a goal and an assist in his performances.
It has not been the easiest of times for the youngster so far, with Tony Mowbray’s way of playing not particularly suited to Price.
However, Ryan Mason is now in place in the hot seat at The Hawthorns in preparation for next season.
The midfielder will be hoping that a new appointment means that he will see his own game time increase next term.
Based on Price’s performance away from the Championship, he has certainly put a real statement of intent out, scoring an excellent goal from outside the box.
However, his efforts have caused some supporters to worry that his time as a Baggie could be fairly limited.
One said on X that Albion should “treasure” him while they can, while another – perhaps only half-jokingly – asked Price to not play so well during the summer transfer window.
Mason must make the most of Price
As Mason prepares to get started with West Brom, he will be eager to consider the talent he already has in the squad.
Price’s talent is undeniable and he certainly showed his levels at times last season, but it doesn’t feel as though he always got the opportunity to shine as much as he could.
However, after seeing what he is capable of, Mason should be looking at the 21-year-old as a core part of the squad for next season.

At such a young age the development of the midfielder is exciting and Albion should keep their sights on promotion to the Premier League if they want him to stay put for some time.
You can’t blame supporters for having jitters over what the future might hold for Price and if he keeps up his progression, he could well be looking to push on soon.
For now, though, supporters should be looking forward to what will hopefully be a more successful time at The Hawthorns and enjoy Price’s services while they can.
