West Brom fans will be baffled by Ryan Mason after confirmed Tottenham news
West Brom supporters have endured a frustrating transfer window as they witness rivals complete transfers for their targets.
Ryan Mason has only signed three players so far this summer and has been forced to use fringe players who shouldn’t be near the side during pre-season.
Devante Cole has had plenty of minutes as a result of injuries to Tammer Bany and Daryl Dike.
Supporters had hoped that Mason’s connections within football would have helped the Albion bolster their squad, but they have yet to see any progress in that department this summer.

Mason fails to make use of Tottenham connections
Tottenham have been on a spree of sending youngsters out on loan to gain first-team experience ahead of the start of the season.
Mason had been backed to use his connections with Spurs to possibly bring in the likes of creative midfielder Jamie Donley, who has now joined Stoke City.
Fellow Spurs youngster Ashley Phillips has also joined Donley at the Potters.
The Baggies had been linked with a return for 20-year-old Lankshear on loan this summer, though he has now also chosen a move to Championship rivals Oxford United.
- Mikey Moore has joined Rangers on loan
- Alfie Devine has joined Preston North End on loan
- Yang Min-Hyeok has joined Portsmouth on loan
- Tyrese Hall has joined Notts County on loan
When Mason arrived in the West Midlands, it was expected that he would use his connections with his former club to facilitate loan moves.
However, Tottenham have loaned out players in various positions that the Baggies need to strengthen to other Championship and English Football League rivals.
West Brom need a central midfielder, and George Abbott showed during his loan with League Two side Notts County that he was perfectly capable of stepping up a couple of divisions.
However, the 19-year-old has now joined Wycombe on loan in yet another move that the Albion have missed out on.
From a position of power with their connections to Tottenham, the Baggies have fallen to a position where they are now playing catch-up in the transfer window.
As a result, supporters will no doubt be confused by Mason and will question whether any attempts have been made to sign players from his former club.

West Brom are making a mistake this summer
The Albion seem to be prioritising permanent additions this summer, with Aune Heggebo, George Campbell, and Nat Phillips all joining permanently.
However, Championship sides inevitably have to rely on some loan additions to improve their squad and push themselves into the top six.
With the Baggies leaving themselves short and leaving it until late to explore the loan market, their strategy could prove costly come the end of the transfer window.
