Karlan Grant takes swipe at Wrexham as West Brom win 3-2 on their big day
Karlan Grant hasn’t wasted any time in poking fun at Wrexham after West Brom secured a 3-2 win on Saturday.
West Brom secured three points at Stok Cae Ras on 16 August, largely thanks to two strikes from Isaac Price either side of half-time.
The newly promoted side did hit back at Ryan Mason’s side through Lewis O’Brien and Sam Smith, but didn’t do enough to snatch a point from the Baggies.
The result was met with a far from subtle dig from West Brom on social media, something which has since been echoed by Karlan Grant.

Grant pokes fun at Wrexham
Whoever the Red Dragons face, they are going to have to deal with ridicule when they lose due to the media frenzy surrounding them.
With the ownership of Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, there are always going to be chants and social media activity related to the Hollywood duo.
Regardless of the famous duo in North Wales, it was West Brom owner Shilen Patel who started the boing with the Albion fans after their 3-2 away win.
As a result, it is little surprise that players have spoken out against the newly promoted side on their first home game of the Championship season in what appears to be tongue-in-cheek fashion.
This saw Grant speak out on the win, having featured across 73 minutes for the Baggies, having a mixed bag of a performance at Stok Cae Ras.

Reacting to the win on Instagram (16 August), the 27-year-old couldn’t help but take a swipe at Reynolds and Co. and their famous Disney+ documentary.
He said: “Away day wins. One for the series that.”
Grant has to pick up at West Brom before making jokes
At the start of last season, the Englishman had looked to have found his feet at The Hawthorns after a loan switch to Cardiff City.
It now feels as if the feel-good factor has fallen off somewhat, especially after another showing with a lack of final product for the Baggies.
This eventually saw Grant be replaced by Mikey Johnston, who grabbed two assists for West Brom and ultimately helped to win the game.
With that being said, it feels as if the ex-Huddersfield Town man needs to hit a regular patch of form and goal output before getting too involved in petty social media antics.
