Ryan Mason ended West Brom’s three-game winless streak against Norwich City on Wednesday night.
Josh Maja netted West Brom’s only goal in their win over Norwich in the Championship.
Albion were the favourites against Norwich, but showed huge resilience to get the job done away from home.
This comes after Jed Wallace told West Brom exactly what they must do to compete at the highest level. There is no doubt that the Baggies captain would have been delighted with the quick turnaround.

Camaraderie between West Brom players clear to see
Mason is the chosen man to lead West Brom to Premier League promotion this season.
While the Baggies got off to a great start, Albion’s defeat to Derby County at home sent them down a difficult path.
But if their win over The Canaries is anything to go by, West Brom are on the right track to succeed.
Given the reaction of the players after the game, they too believe that Albion and building towards something big.
In a video posted by West Brom via their X account on 1 October, the players were all smiles as they walked through the tunnel into their dressing room.
Mason has done more than win games at Albion; he has built a team based on mutual respect.
There is no doubt that this camaraderie between the players will help West Brom see out the rest of the season.
How did West Brom perform vs Norwich City?
Maja gave the Baggies an early lead at Carrow Road which Mason’s side needed to dig deep to defend.

According to Sofascore, it was West Brom’s defensive prowess that won them the game.
Albion completed more duels than Norwich and were dispossessed one less time. While fans would have wanted to see more attacking action, being able to defend well against dominant teams is what distinguishes the best from the rest.
As such, Mason will have a lot to take away from that performance and so will the players.
