Keith Hackett Exclusive: This is how Coventry vs West Brom could have been postponed
West Brom banished all worries with an amazing start against Coventry on Saturday.
West Brom travelled to the CBS Arena on 22 November, with Aune Heggebo struggling immensely heading into the game.
Ryan Mason kept his trust in the Norwegian, and Heggebo rewarded him with two goals in the first half to send the travelling Baggies into dreamland, heading into the break 2-1 up.
Despite this, severe fog put the game in jeopardy before it had even kicked off.

Coventry vs West Brom in strange circumstances
Keith Hackett has shared the steps that would have been taken before kick-off to see if the game would have been postponed due to the fog.
The ex-PGMOL chief admits that the officials will have stood behind one goal, and if they could see the other goalmouth through the fog, the game was fine to go ahead for West Brom.
“In a professional game, the referee should go to the back of the stand behind one goal,” Hackett exclusively told West Brom News.
“Then if he can see the opposite goalmouth, then the game can go ahead.
“It is important where fans pay, they are able to see the whole of the game.”

Coventry vs West Brom drama continues
Weeks before the game had even arrived, there was rage surrounding it.
West Brom fans labelled Coventry’s ticket pricing as “disgraceful”, with a standard away entry costing £45, which is mind-blowing in the Championship.
Coventry didn’t care too much, although West Brom have thrown support behind an away ticket price cap in the weeks following that announcement.
Despite the away end not being full, the Baggies and Mason held up their part of the bargain, with huge signs of promise if this result can be held on to.
Josh Eccles did bring the home side back into things before the break, but West Brom must prove their promotion credentials, with the fog even clearing up to see that.
