West Brom fans in tears as familiar name was spotted on Wolves shirt in baffling decision

Baggies fans were in tears online when they found out ‘West Bromwich’ was on Wolves’ esports kit.

While West Brom have had a disappointing Championship season to date, their Black Country rivals have had one of the worst in their history.

Wolves sit at the bottom of the Premier League and are almost certain for relegation after picking up just two points in their first 12 matches.

While Rob Edwards has come into Molineux to try and save the Old Gold side, it appears to be too little too late, with Wolves already nine points from safety.

Yet, even off the pitch, Wolves cannot get anything right, much to the delight of The Hawthorns faithful.

Sandwell College sponsor is spotted on Wolves Esports shirt

Away from the football pitch, Wolves also boast an esports team.

While this has proved to be controversial among the fanbase in recent years, especially after their recent decline, criticism hit new heights over the past few days.

Upon posting a picture of some of their esports players in a Wolves top, it was pointed out that Sandwell College was on the kit, with ‘West Bromwich’ named underneath.

As Wolves fans lost their minds at this revelation, Baggies supporters could not help but laugh at the baffling decision.

Black Country derby next season?

As the weeks go on in looks more and more likely that West Brom will remain in the Championship for next season.

While Ryan Mason will be feeling the heat for this failure, one positive is the Black Country derby likely returning.

The two sides have not played each other in the league since 2012, with West Brom achieving that famous 5-1 victory at Molineux.

A repeat of this achievement would no doubt allow this season’s failures to become a distant memory.
