Here’s how Romelu Lukaku is being used to get West Brom knocked out of the FA Cup vs Norwich

Norwich City may have the new Romelu Lukaku in their ranks ahead of the FA Cup fourth-round clash against West Brom on Saturday.

Mohamed Toure scored a hat-trick in the 3-0 win over Oxford United on Tuesday, bringing his total up to four goals since arriving from Danish side Randers in the winter transfer window.

He’ll be raring to go against a Baggies defence which has kept consecutive clean sheets against Stoke City and Birmingham City in their last two outings.

West Brom beat Swansea 6-5 on penalties in the third round of the FA Cup prior to Eric Ramsay’s appointment, but they face a completely different test at Carrow Road.

The Canaries beat the Baggies 5-0 on 20 January, and the addition of Toure to the team will be scary, especially as manager Philippe Clement showed the 21-year-old clips of ex-Baggies striker Lukaku to improve his game.

The Belgian striker had a fantastic loan spell at The Hawthorns during the 2012-13 season.

He scored 17 goals and helped the Baggies secure an eighth-placed finish in the top flight.

Speaking to BBC Radio Norfolk on 10 February, Clement reveals that Toure is learning off Lukaku and Erling Haaland on how to be a better forward.

He said: “Toure is still a young lad with a lot of potential and several things to improve but he is learning fast.

“This week, we showed him several images of Haaland and how he creates space for himself, as well as Lukaku and how he uses his body.

“It’s important to have a striker who can find the spaces in behind and is lethal in front of goal.”

The ex-West Brom striker now plays for Italian side Napoli, and although his career will come to an end soon, he is still an inspiration to young forwards all around the world.

The Baggies could do with a striker who is bang in form, as Aune Heggebo has struggled a lot under Ramsay.

Why has Aune Heggebo not performed under Eric Ramsay?

Heggebo joined West Brom for £4.75million from Norwegian side Brann, and although it took him a while to find his feet, Ryan Mason eventually got the best out of him.

With eight Championship goals this season, it’s clear that he has the ability to perform at this level.

However, he hasn’t found the back of the net since 12 December, and Ramsay hasn’t placed much faith in him.

The Norwegian has only completed one full match under the new head coach, which shows that he might not be part of his plans beyond this season.

With Toure firing in the goals for Norwich, Saturday’s FA Cup tie would be the perfect time for Heggebo to remind the Baggies fans that he has what it takes to lead them to safety.
