Daryl Dike set for double West Brom redemption after Southampton scenes
Daryl Dike could prove vital to West Brom’s hopes of staying in the Championship.
The 10-time United States international has been restricted to 15 appearances in the second tier this season, with injury issues constantly hampering him.
West Brom sit 23rd in the division with nine matches left to play, and are in very serious danger of being relegated to League One.
Dike could prove to be the saviour, though, which would be the perfect outcome after his miserable fitness woes since moving to The Hawthorns.

Dike’s showing in West Brom draw analysed
Dike looked like a player transformed against the Saints, as he threatened to make an impact when the Baggies got forward.
The American striker took three shots, with two on target for an expected goals tally of 0.39 in the contest, per Sofascore.
The 25-year-old made two key passes and assisted Jayson Molumby’s opening goal, in a remarkable display in the Black Country.

He was replaced by Josh Maja in the 77th minute, and Albion paid for that mistake as Tonda Eckert’s side started to get into the game and ultimately secured a point.
How Dike can seal double redemption?
Dike could play a huge part in the run-in, if he can stay fit, as he provided a physical presence that James Morrison’s side have lacked in recent weeks.
He was a nuisance for the visitors, and if he can continue that, it could be absolutely vital in the Throstles hopes of avoiding relegation.
The former Barnsley hitman could earn a double redemption, keeping the B71 side in the second tier and earning a new contract in the process.
His current deal expires in 2026, and there have been no indications of a new contract being on the horizon, but that could change.
If he plays a role in keeping James Morrison‘s side in the division, then surely he will earn himself fresh terms and a chance to rewrite his career with the West Midlands side.
