Ollie Bostock has perfect chance to stake his claim in West Brom vs Sheffield Wednesday
Ollie Bostock has shown signs that he can be a regular starter for West Bromwich Albion in the future, and the game against Sheffield Wednesday could be a big chance for the youngster.
The Baggies travel to Hillsborough this Saturday for their final game of what has been a rollercoaster Championship season.
James Morrison has played a major role in helping Albion retain their Championship status amid an EFL punishment which saw the club lose two points.
The interim Baggies boss has had to go with senior figures in the last 10 games or so, but with survival now confirmed, he could opt to play youngsters.
Bostock is one of West Brom’s biggest talents, and there is a high chance that he could get some game time against the Owls.

Ollie Bostock ready for start vs Sheffield Wednesday
It would be a mistake for Morrison to snub playing some youth talent against Sheffield Wednesday, whether that be from the bench or from the start.
Bostock scored the first goal of Morrison’s reign following the sacking of Eric Ramsay, and the interim West Brom head coach may repay the favour this weekend.

The 19-year-old came off the bench to replace Mikey Johnston, who didn’t know that he’d broken his leg at the time.
Bostock held his own over 68 minutes, scoring a screamer and picking up a 7.4 FotMob rating.
He did show signs of his young age, with a 0 per cent crossing accuracy, but he did win three out of his seven ground duels. In the following game against Sheffield United, he was given his first league start for West Brom.

Context is required for some of his poor stats; however, as the Baggies were still struggling at the time, but the 1-1 draw was the start of a 10-game unbeaten run.
Now with confidence in the squad up, it would be a smart move to give Bostock the freedom to shine.
What other youngsters could James Morrison play?
Though not classed as an academy player, Tammer Bany could get some more minutes off the bench, as the 22-year-old is desperate to make a name for himself at The Hawthorns.
Harry Whitwell played 73 minutes in West Brom’s 3-1 FA Cup loss to Norwich City earlier in the year, but has featured in matchday squad’s since, most recently in the 0-0 draw to Millwall.
The attacking midfielder has made four senior appearances for the Baggies this season, and could make it five against Sheffield Wednesday.
Finally, Eseosa Sule, who has four goals in six Premier League 2 games this season, has been a regular in Morrison’s squads in April, and the striker will be hoping for some minutes at Hillsborough.
