West Brom: Louis Saha sends two-word message as official announcement emerges at The Hawthorns
Ex-Manchester United striker Louis Saha has congratulated Yann M’Vila on signing for West Brom after his arrival at The Hawthorns was confirmed this week.
On 19 February, Albion announced on their official website that M’Vila, 33, has penned a short-term deal to reunite with his former Olympiakos manager Carlos Corberan in the Black Country.
M’Vila took to his personal Instagram account on Tuesday (20 February) to say he was “happy” to join the Baggies, leading to a reply from former France teammate Saha.
“Congrats, brother,” said the ex-Fulham striker in the comments.
When can Yann M’Vila play for West Brom?
M’Vila is now ready to go for West Brom – on paper.
The ex-Sunderland midfielder hasn’t kicked a ball in anger since May last year when he played his final club appearance for Olympiakos.
Since then, M’Vila has been trying to keep himself fit as he searches for a new club.
Now that West Brom have signed M’Vila, he’s available for selection for Corberan in the Championship. However, the defensive midfielder is unlikely to be playing any time soon due to a lack of match fitness.

West Brom’s midfield options aren’t looking too bad at the moment in terms of how they’re playing.
Nathaniel Chalobah and Alex Mowatt started together in the 3-0 win over Plymouth on Tuesday night with Okay Yokuslu coming off the bench.
However, Jayson Molumby is injured and John Swift is used in more of an attacking role, meaning that M’Vila could be used later in the campaign if injuries do start to creep in for the currently available crop.
In other West Brom news, an “unfair” Corberan verdict has been shared by Don Goodman.
