What's now being said on Callum Styles and Jimmy-Jay Morgan injuries after international withdrawals

West Bromwich Albion pair Callum Styles and Jimmy-Jay Morgan have returned from international duty early.

Both men have been hugely influential in Albion's bright start to the Championship campaign.

Styles has started all eight matches so far, while Morgan has started seven and featured from the bench in the other.

The pair were called up by Hungary and England Under-20s respectively - the latter now managed by Darren Moore - for this three-week international window.

However, it emerged on Thursday that they are already back at Albion's training base.

A new update has now emerged on the severity of the injury issues Styles and Morgan are suffering from.

We are still in the first week of the three-week break, so there is plenty of time for the pair to rest up.

Still, players dropping out of action for their national sides is never a good sign.

For Styles in particular, he will now miss four UEFA Nations League matches for Hungary.

However, as per the Express & Star, both injuries are only "minor knocks".

It is added that "there is no concern" at West Brom over the injuries and both men look set to be available for Albion's return to action.

That will be another local derby showdown, this time against Birmingham City at The Hawthorns on 10 October.

James Morrison will now have his fingers crossed over West Brom's other travelling players - and there are a fair few of them.

What about West Brom's other internationals?

Styles and Morgan withdrawing from duty leaves West Brom with six players now representing their countries.

Jayson Molumby and Max O'Leary are in the Republic of Ireland squad, while George Campbell has been selected by the United States.

Tammer Bany and Isaac Price, meanwhile, are part of the Jordan and Northern Ireland squads respectively.

Ousmane Diakite completes the set after being included in the Mali squad.

The hope is that each of those players comes back injury free ready for that massive Birmingham clash.
