Most supporters of The Hawthorns club will be roaring on the Three Lions, hoping to see them reach another semi-final.

Heggebo enjoyed a solid start to his first season with Albion, with eight Championship goals in his first 21 matches.

The numbers in the latter stages disappointed with just one in his last 26 games, which saw him unable to make the squad for the tournament.

He is obviously going to back his compatriots, regardless, and he has also has a few others in the squad who want his side to secure victory.

Heggebo has revealed that some of the Irish players in the Albion camp want his nation to win in a dressing room divide.

In an interview with Express and Star's Lewis Cox, the 24-year-old revealed their sentiment.

The journalist claimed that the Norwegian laughed and made the suggestion that some of those stars will be rooting against Tuchel's side.

He did not mention which ones that were hoping that England are defeated, but it is no surprise since there has been historical tensions between the nations.

How did both sides get to this point?

Norway finished second in their group, beating Iraq and Senegal before losing to France.

They faced Ivory Coast in the round of 32, and a late Erling Haaland strike secured a 2-1 win.

The Red, White and Blue shocked Brazil in the round of 16, with a Haaland brace in a 2-1 victory leading them to the clash with England.

The Three Lions topped their group, with wins over Croatia and Panama, and a 0-0 draw with Ghana.

They beat DR Congo in the round of 32 with a late Harry Kane turnaround sparing their blushes, after Brian Cipenga's shock opener.

Co-hosts Mexico awaited in the round of 16, and Tuchel's side secured a dramatic 3-2 win to seal their berth in the quarter-finals.

Both sides will fancy their chances of coming out on top at the Miami Stadium.
