Cesar Peixoto confirms key Wolves player will miss Black Country Derby clash vs West Brom
Wolves boss Cesar Peixoto has delivered a damning injury update ahead of a clash with West Bromwich Albion on Sunday.
The latest installment of the Black Country Derby is now just days away.
It has been over two years since the sides last faced off in the FA Cup, and five years since their last league meeting.
That is only adding to the expectation surrounding the upcoming fixture at Molineux.
With the Albion on top form and the Old Gold in the middle of a patchy run, it makes for an interesting clash.
Things have just become more complicated for Wolves as Peixoto has been hit with a blow before welcoming West Brom.

While James Morrison's side were resting in mid-week, their rivals were kicking off on Merseyside.
They travelled to face Everton on Wednesday with a place in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup on the line.
A strong side was put out by Peixoto, but his side still fell to a 1-0 defeat.
Carlos Alcaraz netted the all-important goal at Hill Dickinson Stadium to seal the victory for David Moyes and Co.
The Wolves boss may now regret his call to name Raul Jimenez in his side after he was forced off with just 38 minutes gone.
Peixoto confirmed after the game that the Mexico international is set for a spell on the sidelines as a result.
He said: “Unfortunately, we are frustrated because Raul will stay injured for a few weeks. It is not a muscular injury in the knee. It is not bad, but he is a key player for us. We are frustrated because he was only going to play 45 minutes and go out.
"These kind of things can happen in the game or a training session. We don’t control these kind of things. We are frustrated."
This problem will see him miss the visit of West Brom on Sunday, but who will replace the 35-year-old?
Who will West Brom face instead of Raul Jimenez?
Mexico and Manchester United icon Javier Hernandez described Jimenez as an "amazing striker" in a FIFA interview ahead of the World Cup.
That sums up just how highly he's thought of and how much of a difference he can make.
West Brom will be glad not to be facing him in the Black Country Derby, but that doesn't mean things will be easy.
Wolves were able to call on Adam Armstrong off the bench against Everton and he could look to prove a point on his Hawthorns return.
That feels like the likely change, although Peixoto also has Bertrand Traore or Sean Neave to call on within his squad.
Morrison will be preparing for any eventuality as he looks ahead to his first derby as head coach.
