James Morrison given Rabby Nzingoula headache ahead of West Brom vs Watford

Rabby Nzingoula has surely put himself in James Morrison's thoughts ahead of West Bromwich Albion's clash with Watford.

The Baggies take on the Hornets at The Hawthorns on Saturday, and will be hoping for their first win in three.

Albion have had a promising start in the Championship, but were held at bay by high-flying Charlton Athletic last time out.

One change that saw the Baggies improve in the second 45 was the introduction of Nzingoula, who came on for Kareem Tunde.

This then allowed Felix Horn Myhre to advance further up the field, though the contest ended level at 1-1.

However, Nzingoula has given Morrison a headache, with West Brom fans now surely wanting to see the Frenchman start against Watford.

Should Rabby Nzingoula start vs Watford?

Nzingoula is yet to start in the Championship for the Black Country Club, but did get 70 minutes in the Carabao Cup loss to Newcastle United.

But his second-half display against Charlton saw him making his case to start at the weekend.

He completed 67 per cent of his dribbles, with a long ball accuracy rate of 100 per cent.

He won six out of his eight ground duels, while making one tackle, interception and clearance, and also being fouled three times.

Nzingoula kept things ticking in West Brom's midfield, and it allowed Morrison to have more success with the supporting striker he seems to be going for this season.

Given the opposition and the nature of the Championship, it feels like Nzingoula should be given the nod to start, but then that would mean Horn Myhre dropping out the side, or starting in an advanced role, which some aren't the greatest fans of.

Are West Brom having success with an advanced Felix Horn Myhre?

It's highly likely that Aune Heggebo comes back into the side to face Watford to partner Jimmy-Jay Morgan up top.

This then means Morrison will have to decide who to play next to Ousmane Diakite out of Horn Myhre and Nzingoula.

Watford have a physical midfield with the likes of Edo Kayembe and Hector Kyprianou both over 6,0" tall.

Horn Myhre seems more suited to an advanced role in midfield as an 8 rather than a supporting striker, but this may not be the game for him to play in the middle of the park.

Nzingoula can help Diakite in the physical midfield battle that will be needed against the Hornets, and a rest could be due for Horn Myhre.

Time will tell, but Morrison has a big call to make.
